Top 100 most valuable Chinese brands

Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands 2014 Report released by Willward Brown, claimed that China has been developing a customer-driven market as the government’s growing attention to balanced economy.

The value of the top 50 market-driven brands (with the private non-government background) increased by 27%, 3 times more than that of the state-owned enterprises whose growth rate was  9%.

This year, it’s the first time to extend the number of the top brands from 50 to 100. The total value’s of the top 50 brands year over year growth  increased by 13% while it fell by 1.6% last year. Compared with 2013, China Mobile’s brand value increased by 21% and reached $ 61.4 billion, continuing to be China’s most valuable brand, which was the fourth consecutive year in the first place.

IT industry which had the highest growth rate last year continued to remain a strong growth trend this year. IT brand value increased by 28%. Tencent ($ 33.9 billion) brand value increased by 68%, rising two places to be the third, and it ranked the first place of all the largest non-state-owned enterprise brands.
