Weibo.com announced last week they are opening up its Weibo Payment for third parties including both businesses and individuals. This week, some images are leaked on China internet showing the to-be-launched smartphone app called “Weimai” (or Micro-sell) for sellers to manage product inventories and provide online customer service.
Users can use the app to upload and manage product information (to sell on Weibo.com)
Product sharing: sellers can use this feature to publish product on Weibo so that Weibo users can buy directly on Weibo
Sellers can also use the app to manage orders, shipping, customers and revenue. According to the leaked information online, Weibo will launch the apps to all users in end June.
